About Me

Where AI Engineering Meets Cybersecurity

Hi, I'm Victor Johnson, an AI Engineer working in the cybersecurity industry. I'm interested in the intersection of artificial intelligence, software engineering and cybersecurity, particularly how intelligent systems are designed, built and secured.

Through this blog, I share what I learn while working with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents and AI-powered applications. I'm equally interested in the security challenges these technologies introduce, including prompt injection, AI security testing, application vulnerabilities and secure system design.

My goal is to understand not just how AI systems work, but also how to build them reliably, evaluate their behaviour and protect them against emerging threats.

Learning by Building and Experimenting

I created this blog as a place to document my technical journey, share practical knowledge and write about the things I find interesting along the way. I believe hands-on experimentation is one of the best ways to understand complex technologies.

Here, you'll find technical tutorials, engineering walkthroughs, experiments, architecture discussions and security-focused articles. I try to connect theoretical concepts with real implementation challenges, including the decisions, limitations and lessons that come with building AI applications.

As AI engineering and cybersecurity continue to evolve, I'll use this space to document new ideas, tools, technical discoveries and approaches to developing more reliable and secure AI systems.

A Little About My Work

Professionally, I work as an AI Engineer in the cybersecurity industry, focusing on AI-powered applications and systems. My technical interests include generative AI, agentic workflows, RAG architectures, AI security and the engineering challenges involved in building trustworthy AI solutions.

I enjoy exploring how emerging AI capabilities can be applied to practical problems while understanding the risks and trade-offs involved. This blog reflects that ongoing process of learning, experimenting and improving.
